From Parksville, Qualicum or Port Alberni
-From the center of Parksville, drive south through town
toward Nanaimo.(old highway)
- Turn left (at the old heritage church and museum) onto Northwest Bay Road
- After 4-5 minutes, turn left on Ballenas
- Turn right on Gerald
- Turn right on Douglas Crescent to 1836 (second house on left with large porch).
From Nanaimo, Ladysmith and Duncan
Drive up-island toward Parksville
- turn right onto Northwest Bay Road at the Nanoose PetroCan.
- follow Northwest Bay Road for several miles toward Parksville (do not veer right
toward Schooner Cove)
- after ~ 7 minutes, turn right on Ballenas
- turn right on Gerald,
- turn right on Douglas Crescent to 1836 (second house on left with large porch).
